How long will it power my stuff?

In the sun, a SolNbox™ or other solar power system will run indefinitely. However, the sun does not shine 24/7. Thus, you're device will need to draw on the energy stored in batteries during those times.

You will need to understand a little about electricity to make good decisions about your build. The first thing needed to know is that Volts x Amps = Watts. Watts are what most items you would plug in are rated at (such as a 100 watt light bulb). If you want to know how much power something needs, look for a tag, plate or imprinting on the item in question. You'll find the watts listed and then just need to pair it with what you will need to build

The batteries that store available power are what the amp hours are about. Each battery set provides different amp hours (or stored power). A 10 amp hour unit will provide 1 amp of power for 10 hours. Keep in mind you may be drawing more than 1 amp. The higher the amps hours the longer it will run without being in sunlight.
